The highlight of the year for the IPBA is its annual multi-topic four day Annual Meeting and Conference, usually held in the spring each year. The conference has become the "must attend event" for business and commercial lawyers in the region. In addition to plenary sessions of general interest to all lawyers, programs are presented by the IPBA's 21 specialist committees. The IPBA Annual Meeting and Conference provides an opportunity for lawyers throughout the region to get to know each other better and to increase their legal knowledge and practice skills. The Annual Conferences are held at various locations throughout the region. In addition to the Annual Conference, each region and country offers their own special Regional Events on various timely topics of interest. IPBA also fosters close cooperation with other organizations that share the same goals as IPBA, working together on Supporting Events of relevance to IPBA members.
