The IPBA Scholarships were created in 1998 to honour the memory of M.S. Lin of Taipei, who was one of the founders of IPBA and a past President of the IPBA. The IPBA is very grateful to the family of the late M.S. Lin for making these scholarships possible. There are two categories of scholarships:

(a) those for lawyers from developing countries to help development of lawyers in those countries and;

(b) those for young lawyers from any jurisdiction to encourage development of those young lawyers in their work.
